FORMAT GALLERY

Display Banners

Leaderboard and medium rectangle units run above, beside, and below game containers. The 300×250 runs in the sidebar alongside game metadata. High fill, consistent CPMs, broadest demand partner coverage.

728×90, 300×250, 160×600, 300×600, 320×50

Outstream Video

Between game listings on portal pages; in the content zone below game descriptions. For publishers who want video CPMs without a dedicated video player, outstream is the entry point.

Self-rendering in-page div, auto-plays muted on scroll-in

Preroll Video

Pre-game load screen or pre-replay screen. High-attention, full-screen placements before play: a short pre-game video fits a loading screen players already expect.

In-stream video declaration required

Interstitials

Between levels, after a game-over screen, before entering the game lobby. Interstitial timing determines whether this format adds revenue or churn. Yolla configures triggers based on game structure.

Full-screen overlay with break-point timing (between levels, on game over)

Game Manual Interstitial (GMI)

Triggers at publisher-defined game events: level complete, life lost, stage change. Structured specifically for the rhythm of browser gaming. Not a retrofitted display unit.

Google's native HTML5 game format (GCPP required)

Rewarded Video

The player chooses to watch a video in exchange for an in-game reward: an extra life, a hint, a bonus round. Because the view is opt-in, it fits the game instead of interrupting it. Yolla configures reward points with you based on game structure.

Floating Video

Persists on game portals while the user browses the game library, reads descriptions, or navigates between categories. Viewability is structurally high: the unit is always on screen.

Adhesion / Sticky Banners

Persistent monetization during game sessions without covering the gameplay zone. For mobile web games with limited screen real estate, often the primary revenue-driving unit.

320×50 mobile, 728×90 desktop; top or bottom anchor

Native Ads

On discovery-focused game portals, native ads appear as "recommended" or "sponsored" listings alongside organic game titles. Suited to portal pages, not in-game placements.

Companion Ads

Alongside preroll or floating video, the companion unit keeps the display impression in the auction while video plays. Publishers running video earn video CPM + display CPM simultaneously.

GUIDANCE

Short-session casual games

Under 5 minutes: display banners and interstitials with break-point timing (between levels, on game over), plus rewarded video where the game offers a reward. High volume, clear transition points.

Long-session games

Strategy, RPG, puzzle: adhesion/sticky and floating video. Persistent visibility across an extended session without interrupting play.

Game portals and discovery pages

Native and outstream video. Matches the browsing and discovery behavior of users who haven't started a game yet.

Mobile web games

Adhesion and other formats that stay out of the play area, plus interstitials only at natural breaks.
